Project Background/BACKGROUND



This project is designed by the team in response to the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Helps Common Prosperity" organized by the Propaganda Department of Deqing County Party Committee-the 4th Deqing County Traditional Handicrafts and Intangible Cultural Heritage Derivatives Design Competition. The design and development of cultural and creative derivatives for the intangible cultural heritage culture of Wuyang Hou Hui in Wuyang Street, Deqing.



Cultural and historical background:

Wuyang Hou Hui is a folk temple fair held by local people to commemorate the famous general Wuyang Hou Fan Kuai of the Western Han Dynasty. It has a long history of more than 2000 years. It is one of the provincial intangible cultural heritage projects and one of the three important temple fairs in Deqing County. one. The modern Wuyang Hou Hui not only commemorates the ancestor of Wuyang Hou, but also inherits and carries forward his spirit of "loyalty, courage and righteousness", in order to better encourage Wuyang people in the new era to devote themselves to the upsurge of building Wuyang.



· Creative Ideas:

This design is the second project to build Deqing's characteristic intangible cultural heritage ip series. Starting from the current background of the development of young and fashionable culture, the design takes Wuyang Hou Hui, one of the provincial intangible cultural heritage projects, as an allusion to the image design of this cultural IP. At the same time, it designs its related derivative gifts and devotes itself to making "Wuyang Hou Hui" a cultural boutique.
