BACKGROUND

NFCC Ningbo Fashion Creative Center is a highly recognizable building located in the eastern new city of Ningbo. At the beginning of the project, we hope to convey the beauty of a building from the perspective of industrial design.

Condensing a fashion creative center with a total construction area of 53000m ² to the size of the palm, how to retain its unique formal beauty and spiritual core is the difficulty we encountered in the design decision-making process.

Finally, we use brass material, bending, welding and polishing process, and use the least elements to express the information we transmit: upward dancing curves and independent vertical and horizontal module spaces, and enrich the overall presentation level through the changes of light, shadow, and reality. Combined with the actual functional attributes, we can place common desktop items such as business cards, badges and pendants to achieve the coordination and unity of form and function.
