1. Design Analysis-From "Attachment" to "Fusion"
Traditional therapy devices often mean bulky mainframes and lengthy wires, with patients tethered between the socket and the hospital bed. The goal of the wearable therapeutic device is only one: to make the treatment happen in the "life scene" rather than the "medical space. The design team proposed three principles:
Zero burden wear: ≤ 35 g local weight, equivalent to a lipstick;
Invisible treatment: invisible in the shirt, during sleep, and during exercise;
Ready-to-use: 3 seconds to complete wearing positioning, 1 second to start treatment.
2. Design Language-Hiding "Medical Sense" into "Sports Accessories"
Mainstream users are not "patients" but "ordinary people in need of rehabilitation". Design language borrows sports trend symbols:
Formal language: integrated streamline + fading ridge, echoing the "sense of speed" of sports shoes ";
Color strategy: host gun gray + strap Morandi green, reduce the "instrument" hint;
Material image: matte TPU package, touch close to Apple Watch Sport strap, skin-friendly but slightly elastic.
3. Design Detail-"Millimeter War" with One Strap"
Magnetic-mechanical hybrid retention
The binding belt and the main machine are respectively embedded with Φ φ6mm × 3 mm N52 magnets, and the surface magnetic flux is 3500g, providing 1.2kg pre-tightening force; There is a 0.3mm deep and 2 mm wide groove on the periphery of the magnet, which forms a "buckle" with TPU convex ribs to prevent sideslip. Magnet + groove double insurance to achieve displacement <0.2mm under 3 N horizontal pulling force.
micro-curvature adaptive
The inner curvature of the strap is R45 mm, which can cover 80% of the adult wrist/arm. The thickness gradually changes from 2.2mm to 0.8mm, forming a "flexible hinge", which still maintains 100% fit when the elbow joint is flexed and extended at 120 °.
Breathable-perspiration integration
The groove also acts as an "air corridor", with a 0.5mm microporous matrix, the skin humidity is reduced by 18% after 30 min of wearing, avoiding whitening and pruritus of traditional gel electrodes.
Module Track
The double swindletail slide rail is hidden on the back of the main engine, which can be adjusted back and forth with a 15 mm stroke, so that the electrode sheet can be accurately aligned with the pain point. The "click" sound at the end of the slide rail indicates that it is in place to realize blind operation.
Throwing electrode & magnetic charging
The electrode sheet is made of disposable hydrogel, and the color indicator window changes from blue to white after 30 times of use, prompting replacement. The magnetic charging port is 4 Pin gold plated, and the 0.5 m drop automatically disengages to prevent wire winding.
Visual hiding
The thickness of the host is 8.4mm, which is similar to the diameter of a dollar coin. The LED treatment lamp only flashes when it is started, and the "black screen" state is worn daily, which is really "invisible".
4. Ergonomics-Turning "Therapy" into "Body Habits"
Weight distribution: The battery and the main board are symmetrically arranged, the projection of the center of gravity falls on the axis of the limb, and there is no "falling touch" when worn for 24 h ";
Circumference adjustment: the strap has 3 sections of modulus teeth + magnet micro-attraction, which can cover 135-210mm arm circumference, and the single-hand pulling force is ≤ 5 N;
Skin pressure: the contact area of the electrode sheet is 4 cm², the output pressure is 1.5 kPa, which is lower than the capillary closure pressure (4.3 kPa), and there is no indentation when wearing for a long time;
Thermal comfort: the thermal conductivity of the shell is 0.2W/(m · K), the temperature rise of the continuous working surface is less than 2 ℃, so as to avoid low temperature scald;
Cognitive load: start and stop with one key, APP only provides "intensity + time" sliding bar, learning curve <1 min.
5. Scenario Verification-From "Ward" to "Gym"
Postoperative rehabilitation: lymphatic drainage of the affected limb after breast cancer surgery, wearing for 6 h/day, edema decreased by 22% in 3 weeks;
Exercise repair: basketball enthusiasts strained triceps brachii, cold compress + electrical stimulation 30 min after training, pain VAS decreased by 3 points within 72 h;
Office scene: code agricultural carpal tunnel syndrome prevention mode, every 2 h micro-current stimulation for 10 min,3 months after the incidence of numbness reduced by 40%.
6. Future Outlook-"Wearable" is just the starting point
With the maturity of flexible batteries and printable sensors, the next generation of hosts will be directly "printed" on the straps with a thickness of ≤ 0.5mm;AI algorithm feeds back each treatment to the cloud and automatically generates personalized prescriptions; Even through the docking of block chain and insurance, the health incentive mode of "treatment is mining" is realized.
