Because the traditional ruler form is limited, most of them are based on smooth cube, so it is difficult for users to pick it up from the plane when using it in daily life and work. Moreover, when the user stops using the pencil, the pencil placed on the desktop will easily roll off the desktop to the ground, causing damage to the pencil and unnecessary trouble. Due to the prevalence of these problems, we designed a multi-functional ruler, its name is N-foot. It integrates the functions of measuring distance, holding pencils and easy access. Different from ordinary rulers, it not only has beautiful shape and accurate semantics, but also has a wavy shape that can imply the user to put a pencil to prevent the pencil from rolling off. Moreover, the ruler also conforms to the laws of ergonomics. When the user is working, gently pressing the arc surface of the ruler can get a comfortable use experience. By subdividing the scene of user's work, N-foot can help users improve efficiency in their study and work and bring convenience to users' lives.
