Fur is a set of furniture designs that hope to convey human awareness of polar bear protection. The work is divided into three seats, made by man-made fiber/crop waste and PMMA soft materials. The furniture adopts a transparent soft inner shell, and the outer surface of the inner shell is attached to the simulated polar bear hair. The overall shape adopts light gray, creating a hollow and real visual feeling. The three seats are household sofa, single seat and lazy sofa. The work has a high degree of freedom and simplicity. After the user purchases it, he can use it only by filling the inside of the bureau with air. The supporting legs of the single seat are made of PMMA hard material, which is convenient for transportation, installation and use. While the works innovate in functions and materials, they also hope that the works of industrial designers can convey the social responsibility of industrial designers. The transparent shape inside the shape is like the hollowed out body of the polar bear after being hunted, and the external simulation hair forms a strong contrast with the inside. While meeting the basic requirements of furniture, it can sell users to intuitively feel the importance of protecting the polar bear, thus triggering users to think deeper.
