As one of the four major awards of Red Dot, the Contemporary Good Design Award (CGD) is an international design award sponsored by the German Red Dot Award organization. It was jointly initiated by the German Red Dot Award organization and Xiamen Media Group in 2015. Red Dot uses more than 60 years of international top design award operation experience and design resources to be responsible for the organization of international review and the selection of works, in order to ensure the professionalism, seriousness and authority of the contemporary good design award.
