"The Leap of Light" is a large-scale interactive lighting device designed by AaaM Architectural Design Studio in the K11 Square space, providing visitors with a multi-dimensional play experience. Living in this crowded city sometimes makes people feel powerless and disappointed. The team believes that even though we are all ordinary people, everyone is always unique. If we can "gather energy" together, we will be able to make changes. Through the experience of play, the device explores the relationship between "individual" and "collective", and allows the player to release the inner "potential" and rekindle confidence and hope. The halo sculpture connected in a spiral upward cleverly responds to the restrictions of the square as a base for public corridors and green trees. Players use different body movements to make up to 150 air apertures present different lighting effects, and the collaboration of multiple people can create the "ultimate leap 」. The architect combined space elements and interactive lighting to create this Christmas amusement park, in order to bring more laughter and hope to Hong Kong people.
