Ladder of Life is an escape device equipped inside the cabin. When the ship is in normal state, the ladder of life installed on the wall in the hallway serves as handrails. Especially when the boat is rocking, the passengers or crew walking in the hallway can take it as a handrail to maintain balance. When a shipwreck occurs, the hull tilts seriously. And then, the handrail becomes a ladder of life, through which passengers can quickly climb up to reach the deck, and access to rescue in time.
