Since the world's third Red Dot Design Museum landed in Xiamen, China in 2018, it has launched various activities such as award selection, exhibition, training, and industrial docking of "looking for good contemporary designs". Among them, "protecting good designs" is one of the important actions.
In 2019, the Red Dot Design Museum Xiamen held more than 20 Design Talk series salons with the theme of looking for contemporary good design and protecting good design in more than 10 cities including Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Beijing, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Shantou and Xiamen.

On World Intellectual Property Day 2020, Red Dot Design Museum Xiamen, together with the copyright owner platform of Xiamen Anne Group, a listed company with copyright protection as its important business, jointly launched the "Protect Good Design" 2020 copyright protection campaign to provide 2020 copyright protection service packages for original design products listed or expected to be listed between 2019 and 2020. This action has also won the support and participation of important national design platforms and industrial design associations in many places, such as Puxiang.com, Yanjiyou, design addiction, draft design, etc.
