Intelligent takeaway delivery vehicle is an electric vehicle designed for employees in the takeaway industry in the next 5 to 10 years. The delivery service not only creates a large number of jobs, but also an important part of getting people out of poverty and getting rich. At the same time, the production of electric mopeds has remained high in recent years, while the number of food delivery practitioners has continued to expand. According to the statistics of Shanghai traffic police, there were 76 traffic accidents in the takeaway industry in the first half of 2019, accounting for 52%. The main types of accidents were mostly non-motor vehicles that collided with vehicles going straight behind when turning left or changing lanes. As a livelihood tool for takeout workers, the future takeout delivery truck should be more intelligent, bringing convenience and safety to takeout workers.
Therefore, we put forward the following design concepts and adopted a brand-new design for the vehicle. First of all, a new system of radar and prompt light is added. The prompt light can be linked to mobile navigation to avoid distracting attention from viewing the map in the delivery map. At the same time, the warning light is linked to the distance measuring radar at the rear, indicating that there are vehicles following in the blind area behind the takeaway, and it is forbidden to change lanes or turn, thus reducing the occurrence of traffic accidents. Secondly, the take-out box is redesigned to reduce the center of gravity when on-board, so that the vehicle is more stable and the take-out is not easy to overturn. In addition, the bottom of the box can be disassembled and cleaned separately to ensure that the take-out box is clean and hygienic.
