Before designing this product, I did a lot of back adjustment, and visited the middle-aged and elderly people and some people with leg and knee injuries, especially meniscus injuries. I consulted orthopedics doctors, rehabilitation doctors and professional fitness coaches to ensure the theoretical implementation of the modified product and the rationality of structural design.
Inspired by the driving structure of the train, design a new driving structure; use high speed and light gear (low gear) to step on so that the force of each stepping on the knee will be reduced, so the sprocket wheel diameter should not be too large, and the crank should not be too large. Too long, so that the driving range is reduced. When stepping on, the knee should move vertically on a horizontal plane. The movement of the knee is not a simple movement on a plane like a hinge, but a little slight rotation during the movement. For example, pay attention to the lower kneecap when riding a bicycle. If it moves vertically up and down without shaking back and forth, the pressure on the knee is very small, however, if your kneecap moves in a figure 8 or S (viewed from the side), it may cause knee injury. Therefore, it is necessary to design a driving structure for linear motion, and make the legs and knees move in a straight line, thereby reducing knee wear
