What is a sofa? How do we define a sofa? Is it because it looks like a sofa, or does it function like a sofa, so we can call it a sofa? If the elements of cushion, backrest and armrest are reshaped, what do we call it?
In daily life, there is a group, they often do not sit on the sofa cushion, but like to sit on the carpet, back against the sofa. In this situation, cushions, backrests, armrests and even floor carpets have new functional attributes. Therefore, we shorten the original cushion of the sofa into a table top that can only store goods, and turn the real cushion into a carpet and integrate it with the sofa. The facade of the original cushion becomes a backrest. In the end, this object that looks like a sofa but is not a sofa reshaped a new function of a sofa.
