Nanxiang Building, which has been preserved in the long history, is located in the Hakka town of Gankeng in downtown Shenzhen. Today, with a new attitude and modern design combined with Hakka cultural architectural forms, she creates a hotel space that meets the aesthetic and needs of modern people. The existing buildings of Nanxiang Building have both Minnan and Hakka customs, and the solid wood structure is quite large. After 120 years of vicissitudes of life, the plaque makes people whisper, "You might as well be a pilgrimage to the south". Today, it has become a raise for the entrance of the hotel and a way to spy on the local culture. The designer juxtaposed the old and new architectural styles, and the steel sloping roof formed a bright spot in the ancient building complex. Even during the day, various activities can be carried out without artificial lights. The pattern on the window lattice of the original building is used as the building skin, and the story of Nanxiang Tower begins to be told when you enter the door. The shaped stone piers on both sides of the entrance are presented in the form of a ship-shaped platform, which contains the hardships of the Hakka people moving across the sea; the character carvings on the eaves of the Nanxiang Building are used in the lobby, and the artistic conception is long. The Nanxiang Building Exhibition Hall perfectly inherits the elements of local architectural culture. The complete traditional Hakka buildings were dismantled and numbered from southern Fujian, and moved to this place to be assembled and assembled again. In a sense, the building is also like a Hakka. I moved into Gankeng's new house.
