"EMO Mic" is a cup phone device full of children's interest designed for families of left-behind children. In the research, I found that the parents of left-behind children often choose to make phone calls to communicate and accompany their children, but in fact, this may not really accompany their children. Professor Xue Zhaofeng, an economist, put forward the concept of "effective communication": companionship is not the same as companionship. Because during the call, parents will naturally and unknowingly become commanders, making this warm call boring and disgusting. So I designed a set of cup phone interaction device and a set of user experience process to realize the transmission of children's emotions to parents when talking. With the help of voice recognition emotion technology, the emotions are converted into different colors, and then conveyed through cup phone. My device is committed to improving the dialogue between parents and children, so that parents can pay attention to the psychological impact of dialogue methods on children, really accompany the children on the other side of the phone.

So I designed a set of cup phone interactive device and a set of user experience process to convey the emotion of the children in the phone call to their parents, and with the help of voice recognition emotion technology, the emotion is transformed into different colors and conveyed through the cup phone to improve the quality of the conversation between parents and children, so that parents can really accompany the children on the other side of the phone.
