Hello everyone, I am a product designer from Shanghai. It is my design concept to explore the complicated world in simplicity.

Zen Deer Router

This is a design plan that has been carried out intermittently since 2018. At first, I only wanted to design a clean, concise desktop storage box with a hint of Zen.

Unexpectedly, as the design went on, I suddenly came up with the idea of installing two antennas for him to become a wifi router.

Although a conventional home router is generally not too big, no matter where it is placed, it will always take up a small space. So why not design a dedicated area on the surface of the router to place some living and office debris?

Everyone knows that the design of routers is always the same, so I want to seek some breakthroughs on the antenna. If I follow the original theme of Zen, the first thing I can think of is deer!

What if the antenna is designed to look like a antler? The original bottom 4 standard antennas are combined into 2 and re-branched into 4 beams at the top. The left and right antennas make a height difference, and the top is deliberately made into an irregular shape. In this way, the effect of antlers is simulated.

In addition to the above, I also matched a detachable pen holder on the right side and a soft rubber hook. Maybe some people will use it alone?

In a word, this concept "Zen deer router" was born by mistake. I hope you like it.

Preface

I don't know if you are aware that the number of stray cats on the roadside has increased in recent years. Take the community where I live as an example. Every evening, I can see 5 or 6 cats gathering at specific feeding points to eat cat food.

The invasion of cat-sucking culture has made cats more popular than dogs. At the same time, due to the great pressure of modern young people's life. I don't even have the strength to cook when I come home from work every day, let alone take my pet out for a walk.

At this time, the advantages of the cat's "house" are fully reflected. So at some level, cats are an advanced "low-carbon pet". Compared with traditional turtles, fish, hamsters, etc., it has an absolute high interactive advantage.

Compared with dogs, it supports placement and breeding to a certain extent. And these characteristics coincide with the "house" attribute that pervades young people today. All this has prompted the vigorous development of cat-sucking culture.

Co-branded "LITTLE POLLY Little Parrot"

So when I received another invitation to design hand warmers this year, the first main element I thought of was cats.

After half a year of polishing, the co-brand "LITTLE POLLY parrot" has brought everyone the new Xiao Mao hand warmers of the season. Imagine that when winter comes, the kitten hand warmers are tightly stored in the palm of your hand, as if you are really pulling a lazy cat, and your heart will feel a little warmth.

Product appearance

In terms of the appearance of the product, because I wanted to jump out of that greasy and lovely route, I specially tried to take the Chao Meng Han Feng. A tightly wrapped hat was designed on the cat's head. Add headphones, gloves, scarves and other simple accessories to create a simple but warm and lovely feeling.

Rendering aspect

In terms of rendering, this time it is quite unconstrained. In addition to some conventional solid color backgrounds, surrealist elements are added to some scenes to enhance the visual effect.

I want to create the feeling of returning home eagerly in the cold winter and heavy snow.

The scene is inspired by the assembled 4WD that I played as a child.

Perhaps it is this "prodigal" ability that makes me become an industrial designer step by step. At present, I will still dismantle some products. I may not have changed at first sight. I like exploration, research, creation and design.

"Pet Shower Design 」

This shower is specially designed for pet bathing.

At the beginning of the design, it was decided to focus on one-handed operation and soft toothed brush heads. When bathing a pet, you are most afraid of encountering "restless" Wang Xingren or cats, and you have to run around and refuse to take a bath. This kind of situation may make you think it is really difficult to keep a pet, especially single.

In the one-handed operation design, the water outlet mode adjustment ring and elastic valve of the three gears can freely control the water volume and mode with one hand. When the shower accidentally slips off, the water will automatically pause and avoid splashing.

The soft rubber toothed brush head can not only comb pet hair and massage skin, but also go deep into hair roots to clean stains and make pet hair cleaner. The soft rubber toothed brush head integrated on the shower head is also better to cooperate with one-handed operation. In this way, the work of dampness, fragrance, washing, combing and so on can be solved with one hand, while the other hand only needs to catch the pet that loves to run around.

Smart design

The overall design of the shower is inspired by candy. The adjusting switch at the neck draws on the dog's collar, the round and full design, and the matching of yellow and orange colors give the product a lively feeling.

Ergonomics

The handle is ergonomically designed. The whole fits the palm better and is effortless to use. The oval section handle prevents slippage. The soft rubber shell keeps the grip comfortable.

Interactive design

Holding the handle tightly will touch the switch, and the water will be discharged with one key, and the water will automatically stop when releasing the handle, making one-handed operation easy and convenient, and preventing accidental slippage and splashing. The neck is equipped with an adjusting switch, and the rotation can adjust the water outlet form.

Universal interface

The pet shower uses a standard shower interface and can be used in conjunction with the home bathroom shower pipe.

Most designs will definitely take cost and creativity into account, so some clever designs are born from this. When you are in a meeting in the office or watching a warm and romantic movie at home with your lover, there are usually moments when you don't want to be disturbed.

This doorbell transmitter has a do not disturb mode dial, rotating to do not disturb mode can prevent visitors from touching the doorbell, and also feedback to visitors do not disturb information.

The transmitter adopts wireless communication design and waterproof design, and can be installed at will.

The front of the host is open and the double horn design makes the sound brighter; the front is equipped with a ring lamp, which can observe the flashing of the lamp from different angles of view, and it is also convenient to remind some hearing impaired people.
