In the category of popular science for children, traditional microscopes generally have problems such as high interaction threshold, cold appearance and limited use scenes. Most products eventually become "disposable toys" and cannot really stimulate children's desire for exploration.

We hope to reconstruct the experience of children's microscope through design, so that scientific tools have both professional, safety and aesthetic value, and become exploration partners that children are willing to use actively.

The core of our design, "Gentle Science Popularization", abandons the rigid feeling of traditional teaching aids and the design routine of cheap cartoon, takes the real use scene of children as the origin, and optimizes the whole case from three dimensions of safety, interaction and vision.

Safety: The whole machine adopts non-angular full-rounded curved surface transition to remove all exposed screws and sharp structures. The body material is made of environment-friendly fall-resistant materials to eliminate potential safety hazards in children's use from the source. The base features a widened and weighted design to reduce the risk of tipping, accommodating children’s habit of placing it wherever they like.

Interaction: Break the complicated debugging logic of traditional microscope, condense the core functions into 3 physical keys, match with high-definition visualization large screen, and observe the imaging without approaching the eyepiece. Children do not need parents to accompany the teaching, get the hand can operate independently, focus on the exploration itself, rather than the use of learning tools.

Vision: Reject high saturation fancy color matching, choose low saturation milk white as the main color, and only use a touch of warm orange as the functional visual anchor point, which not only conforms to children's visual friendliness, but also integrates into modern home environment, breaking the stereotype of "children's products must be cartoon. The fuselage features smooth, rounded lines, blending a sense of technology with approachability.
