Design background

The "addition, subtraction, multiplication and division" dance was created by the Philippine dance troupe ICONX in 2019. it can be said that it has become popular all over the internet. I have also brushed it many times on the internet. recently, I met it again. I was just looking for a design theme, so I re-examined the video.
As an ancient mathematical symbol, "addition, subtraction, multiplication and division" can evolve into an interesting dance in the eyes of dancers, so what can it look like in the eyes of designers? I began to try to rebuild these mathematical symbols, this time adding the classic material collision of marble and brass, seeking a new look and feel.

Design description

The content of the project has nothing to do with the material, process, production cost, realizability and other limiting factors. The morphological exploration is carried out within the scope of the proposed elements. There is no function and product details. It is only an objective geometric shape.
I hope that in this process, I can learn to deal with the contradictory relations between the various constituent elements.
