To be honest, I think if your portfolio did this, you, a graduate student, would have read it for nothing. you didn't give full play to your strengths. you all put on the modeling drawings and didn't see your research process.
1. The major of graduate school has nothing to do with industrial design. It is true that graduate school is not as fast as the actual work. However, I still don't want to admit that I read in vain. After all, I also experienced a freelance designer ;
2. The previous work was to do product appearance modeling, so to say the strengths, modeling design is the only strengths (this portfolio expresses its basic software skills and has certain experience through project display );
3. The research has not been released. Every product will have more or less research. For research, please refer to the sphygmomanometer design in Phase 129 of the top list. Some research can be more detailed than him. Of course, not every project needs very detailed research. In my humble opinion, research is important and helps to think about the design process, but it is not important to be indispensable, because many times there is no detailed research data design. For me, research mainly plays the role of familiarity with the product. If conditions permit, I prefer to understand the product by dismantling the actual product. By dismantling the product, sometimes I can know where my design point is. I have to admit that what I can do is really limited (basically doing appearance design). the most basic thing is to make differences with existing products and meet the feasibility of the structure. sometimes I have a headache .
