"The faded chair legs seemed to disappear gently, as if the chair were standing in a mist. The back and seat of the chair are made of wood, and the transparent acrylic legs are specially drawn by the craftsman, so that the wood grain appears to fade away. Usually, our perception of furniture is strongly influenced by the surrounding space. The fade-in and fade-out chair changes this relationship: we can change the look and feel of the space by simply placing the chair in it. This is our attempt to design space through furniture." -nendo
