The creation of the mocha pot was inspired by the washing machine used by Alfonso Bulotti's wife at the time. In 1933, Alfonso BILETTY was inspired by the washing machine to create the world's first domestic Moka Express using steam pressure to extract coffee. This invention innovated the original coffee making method of Italian using high pressure to extract coffee liquid in a short time, making coffee making simple and convenient. Mocha pot gradually became popular in Italian families and later developed into an indispensable coffee appliance in Italian family kitchens.
