Interpretation of works:
"Those who can't hear the music, think those who dance are crazy." -- Nietzsche's words point out the neglect of the importance of visual melody in dance. Dance is the expression of human emotions, and jewelry is the display of human characteristics. Irish dance is caused by emotions, so the requirements for the music background are relatively low. The unique rhythm, beat and movement in this dance have become the inspiration for this creation. The work combines dance and jewelry into a visual whole.

Gu Xue's Bi Shi started with the rhythm and rhythm of Irish tap dance, refined and evolved to design neck ornaments, waist ornaments and wrist ornaments. The changes in the specifications and shapes of the metal sheet unit of the accessories are closely related to the beat, rhythm and power of the dance steps. The work interprets the rhythm of sound and time into a visual three-dimensional image, which is worn on the neck, waist and wrist. Through the density, rules and variation of the metal sheet, the magnitude of the dancing swing is deduced. The work seems to be hinged to confine the whole body, but it is resolved by the hammer pattern of the metal surface, which reflects the unyielding spirit and power contained in the tap dance to fight for freedom.
