The product’s design is inspired by snails.🐌
I requested that DeepSeek assign me tasks, and I would develop the proposals (limited to product form exploration and design—conceptual products). In the process of interacting with the AI, I found that it came up with many unreasonable ideas and requests, so I had to keep questioning and correcting them. This also prompted me to reflect on the application of AI in the design field. My product-form design and AutoCAD instructor told me: “In fact, in the future, what matters even more is mastering AI-related skills.” To put it briefly, there’s really no need to dismiss AI over such a minor mistake. After all, in line with the development of the times, both emotionally and logically, we should learn how to apply AI appropriately in our work—of course, without becoming completely dependent on it.
Although it’s just a concept product and the idea isn’t all that great, I’ll still go ahead and explain it.
First, the air inlet can draw dust and other debris from gaps into a small storage compartment inside the product. The back of the product serves as the air outlet, and there is a semicircular indentation on the main body to make it easier for users to grip (here, the AI suggested I move this feature, but after some thought, I realized that considering the product’s center of gravity, it’s still better to keep it in its original position). Additionally, there is a crescent-shaped window on the main body, allowing users to check at any time how much dirt has accumulated in the storage compartment and to promptly open the rear cover to empty the contents.
The circular hole on the bottom back of the product is for the power cord, but I didn’t model the cord or the power supply—this was an oversight on my part.
I would also appreciate any guidance or feedback from all the teachers.
