This is a face-to-face question from a design company in April 2020. Let me design a desktop air purifier. In this design, I have some thoughts on the relationship between appearance function and structural assembly.

Looking at some desktop air purifiers on the Internet, I feel that the center of gravity is always unstable psychologically and functionally. When using the buttons above, I always feel that they will fall off as soon as they are pressed. Therefore, the base has been widened during the design, showing the visual structure of a triangular pyramid as a whole. In appearance, it also echoes the main dynamic of the triangle and adopts triangular modeling elements.

The knob key control has a more comprehensive level of feedback than the touch key.

Use the thermal expansion and contraction phenomenon of injection molded plastic to fix and assemble, and the assembly speed is faster than the buckle.

The main internal components are filter element, fan, and negative ion generator
