The work is located in the residential community of Jijiadun Water Village in Kunshan, with Jiangnan landscape, lonely boat, meniscus and Zen as the core images, integrating the local details of the water village with the quiet aesthetics of Oriental Zen.
The sculpture base uses a gradual blue curved surface to shape the shape of water stack, and re-engrave the gentle water pattern of Dianshan Lake, such as clear water around the bank, condensing the Jiangnan water charm into the entity. The horizontally perforated metal boat body traverses the main body. As night falls, the boat body holes give out warm light and turn into floating lights on the water surface. The upper mirror stainless steel curved moon ring stretches in the sky, the shadow of the sky and the sky. The daylight blends with the cloud forest and the night. In the boat stands brass Zen humanoid, plain and matte metal texture is quiet and restrained, like watching the water and watching the moon, sitting alone and forgetting dust.
The whole breaks the heavy feeling of traditional landscape sculpture, the curve is smooth and light, the mirror material is virtual and real, and the white walls and tiles and green trees and lawns around the scene are used to coexist naturally with the folk houses in the south of the Yangtze River during the day. At night, the lights are on, and the moon, boat, people and water form a poetic level. Echoing the slow life atmosphere of Jijiadun water village, it conveys the oriental artistic conception of "watching the moon by boat, facing the water and calm heart", so that visitors can fall into the unique quiet Zen realm of Jiangnan when they step into the trail.
