We aimed to focus on the simple and basic functions of a rice cooker. We completed a solution focusing on cooking rice at an affordable price, eliminating unnecessary features. Mono is capable of cooking rice for babies and adults. After studying baby foods, three rice cooking modes were adopted to help mothers save time when they make baby foods. Mono has the minimalistic and simple look and feel. Instead of making a statement, Mono is well harmonized with the spaces where it is located. As most of users place rice cookers near the walls, the square form factor was adopted to maximize user conveniences
