Pot rice, as a category of traditional Cantonese diet, has a strong cultural symbol of Cantonese. Historically, since the opening of the port in Guangdong, due to its proximity to the Pearl River, there are many docks, and the foreign shipping and river transportation trade industry has developed. The wharf is full of coolies who come here to make a living and merchants guild from all over the world. A convenient, hot and simple cooking pot rice has thus become one of the recipes of neighbors and workers. Due to its simple operation, hot pot rice is spread all over the streets and lanes, as well as neighborhood shops and teahouses. In recent years, hot pot rice has gradually enriched its single items from individual industrial and commercial shops and wide-style teahouses in the past, and has gradually evolved into the main category that can independently support catering specialty stores.
As a native of Jiangmen, the designer is very familiar with Guangfu and Nanyang culture. In the SI design of the Cantonese-style Baozi rice chain restaurant, litchi red and banana green in the traditional color system of Guangdong Lingnan are fully applied to the visual system of the store, combined with the Hong Kong-style retro atmosphere of tea restaurant decorative materials (lattice bricks, terrazzo floor, artistic glass, retro pickup seats and other elements) and lighting arrangement, thus creating a pure Cantonese-style Lingnan-style restaurant chain. Through the design of the space, we will tell the visitors about the legendary taste of Guangdong people going to Nanyang, opening commercial ports and going to Sanjiang for hundreds of years in modern times!
Monopoly chain store's SI system design, the store's various advertising light boxes and other plane visual material design accounted for a lot of proportion. In the process of design, the designer optimized the original VI system, and then redesigned all kinds of promotional materials for cooking rice according to the in-store application scenarios of the catering industry based on VI. In terms of plane purchase and vision, the main style of the space design of the exclusive store is connected, with the Hong Kong style retro publicity poster as the main style, highlighting the functional introduction of the product itself. So as to create a brand image of Guangfu Baozi rice with a new concept!
