The spiritual fortress built for Hongyu Mansion this time has a total height of 12 meters and is a representative logo artwork at the main entrance of the project. The work uses 28mm thick laminated tempered glass as the main material of the facade, and the LOGO of the project is implanted on all sides to realize multi-view brand display, taking into account both functionality and artistry.
From the technological level, the landing of this work is not a small challenge. The facade glass adopts blue vertical strip glue pattern with different shades, which is rich in visual layers. The pattern needs to be accurately matched in the glass glue stage, once the deviation will destroy the overall rhythm. The whole is designed in sections of 2 meters. The single piece of glass has a huge volume. Each step needs to be strictly controlled to avoid technological defects such as bubbles and dislocation.
Structurally, the work relies on the built-in steel structure skeleton as the load-bearing core, and the glass panel is firmly fixed on the steel frame by riveting rods. The exterior glass is thick and heavy, and has extremely high requirements for the load-bearing, wind-resistant design and riveting point arrangement of the inner steel frame. It is necessary to ensure the structural safety for long-term outdoor use, and to control the exposure of fixing parts to ensure the facade is simple and clean without interrupting the aesthetic feeling of vertical lines.
The vertical stripes straighten out the longitudinal extension of 12 meters in height, and the deep light blue color changes alternately. Under the sunlight at different times, the transparent glass will produce a flexible light and shadow effect. There is no complicated and redundant modeling, relying on the texture of the material itself and the rhythm of the lines to shape the temperament. It is modern, simple and fashionable, and perfectly fits the architectural tone of the residential district.
As the image of the community portal, the spiritual fortress is not only a sign, but also a condensed expression of the project's temperament. Thick and safe laminated glass, taking into account the sense of permeability and outdoor durability; rigorous steel frame riveting process, hiding the complexity of the project, only showing a clean visual results. During the day, it is calm and eye-catching under the blue sky. At dusk, the light diffuses through the glass, and the blue vertical stripes slowly faint, becoming the iconic landscape node of the area.
The landing of large-size glass signs tests the factory's processing accuracy, on-site hoisting and the cooperation of the installation team. From steel frame lofting, glass proofing, glue alignment, to segmented assembly, hoisting and fixing, each link is controlled layer by layer, and finally the design concept is landed into a visible landmark. The form of vertical extension and upward growth also implies the upward improvement of human settlement life. Modern public art is used to shape the memory symbol of Hongyu Mansion, which belongs to the project alone.
