1. design analysis (Design Strategy)
Use scene: home/night continuous monitoring, light movement scene, need "no sense to wear" and "reading at any time".
Core appeal:
• Medical credibility-data is accurate and symbols/text comply with medical regulations (e. g. ISO 15223-1).
• Wearing no feeling-wrist type instead of finger clip type, to avoid long time finger clip caused by oppression, numbness.
• Intuitive and easy to understand-low learning costs for all ages.
Design positioning: light medical wearable devices between "medical devices" and "consumer electronics", the appearance needs to be restrained, professional, and not too "hospital feeling".
2. Design Language (Design Language)
Shape: soft "pebble" chamfered rectangle, no acute angle, reduce clothing scratching; The overall thickness is controlled at 10-12mm, which is lower than that of traditional watches and reduces hooking.
CMF:
Main shell: matte skin-friendly TPU + PC two-color injection molding, taking into account drop cushioning and easy cleaning.
• Screen: 2.5 D tempered glass cover, edge arc transition, improve sliding feel.
Back: transparent PC battery compartment cover, convenient for users to replace button batteries; Silk screen information uses neutral gray, does not destroy the minimalist feeling of the whole machine.
Graphic Language:
Medical symbols (SpO₂%, min) use sans-serif font + icon, line 2 px, maintain the visual rhythm consistent with consumer electronics.
The brand "soopot Sogo Design" is silk-screened with 40% gray scale to weaken commercial exposure and highlight professional sense.
3. Design Details (Design Details)
Transparent back cover:
Function: both battery replacement and laser nameplate anti-counterfeiting; The transparent material makes the internal gold-plated blood oxygen sensor module looming, implying "high technology".
Process: single-sided hardening + silk screen + adhesive after PC injection molding, assembly tolerance ≤ 0.05mm, ensuring 50 m waterproof.
Sensor window opening:
The two-color molded TPU boss is 0.3mm to form a "soft pad" to ensure that the LED/PD fits the skin while avoiding compression marks.
Open the window with C0.2 rounded corners to facilitate wiping alcohol disinfection.
Wristband quick release:
18 mm standard lugs are adopted, compatible with common silicone/milanese straps on the market. The ear of the lever is hidden inside the case, and the appearance is not convex.
Interaction:
Single key + wrist lifting bright screen; Key 2.2 × 2.2mm, surface sun print non-slip, travel 0.3mm, IPX8 waterproof support.
Logo layout:
• "BRAND" and "991 78" are internal item/serial numbers, using OCR-B fonts for automated code scanning.
• "SpO.%/min" is the functional symbol required by the regulations, size ≥ 1.2mm, according to IEC 60878 readability test.
4. Ergonomics (Ergonomics)
Wrist circumference adaptation: wrist strap 125-205mm six-hole adjustable, hole spacing 5mm;TPU 55 Shore hardness, both elasticity and positioning.
Wearing posture:
The distance between the center of the sensor and the wrist bone is 1-1.5cm (based on the wrist size of GB/T 10000-1988 P50), ensuring that the LED is aimed at the bifurcation of radial artery, and the data stability is improved by 8-12%.
Center of gravity distribution: the battery is close to the back of the hand, and the center of gravity of the whole machine falls 3 mm above the carpal bone, which reduces the "eversion" torque and does not warp the edge when worn for a long time.
Skin contact temperature: TPU with thermal conductivity of 0.2 W/m · K is used in the sensing area, and the working temperature rise of LED is ≤ 6 C to avoid low temperature burns.
Visual angle: The screen plane is raised 15 ° relative to the wrist plane, allowing users to read without turning their wrists when lying flat.
