1. product basic information
The product is the ultrasonic scalpel host handle system (scheme D), built by Shanghai Suogot Design (suogot) for Wedu (wedu) brand, positioned as medical ultrasonic surgical equipment (Ultrasonic Surgical Shears), the core design goal is to meet the professional attributes of medical equipment at the same time, to achieve a compact, humanized product experience.
2. Core Design Principles
The top-level design logic for Scenario D is clear and anchors two core directions:
Compact design: compress the host volume, adapt to the limited table space of the operating room, and improve the portability and space utilization of the equipment.
Design language with temperature: on the basis of tough medical equipment modeling, soft chamfering and soft lines weaken the sense of industry, reduce the psychological pressure of medical staff and patients, and transmit professional and friendly brand temperament.
3. Design Language Analysis
1. Modeling Language: Medical Aesthetics of Rigidity and Flexibility
Main form: the basic shape of rounded cuboid is adopted, and the overall line is simple and neat, which conforms to the professional and rigorous attributes of medical equipment. At the same time, all outer contour surfaces are chamfered with large radius and soft chamfered to weaken the sharpness, realize "soft transition under tough shape", and take into account the structural strength and visual temperature.
Hierarchical design: the front adopts stepped shape, the screen area is concave and the body body is convex, forming a clear visual hierarchy, which not only strengthens the identification of the operation area, but also makes the product more stereoscopic and delicate.
Proportional control: the overall use of flat, light and thin proportion design, to avoid the traditional medical host of the heavy sense, strengthen the "small" product positioning, visually more light and modern.
2. Color and material: the precise expression of professional medical sense
Color system: the use of silver gray black light blue classic medical color:
Silver gray/metal silver: transfer professional, scientific and technological, clean medical properties, adapt to the operating room environment;
Black: used for the screen area and the top surface, forming a visual focus, highlighting the operation of the core area;
Light blue (atmosphere light/brand color): as a decorative color, strengthen brand recognition, while enhancing the sense of technology and interaction.
Material Selection:
Front panel: metallic glass/acrylic material, taking into account the high-end texture and easy to clean, disinfection-resistant medical needs;
Body body: medical grade ABS/aluminum alloy material, to ensure the structural strength at the same time to achieve lightweight;
Details: chamfered edges are treated with high gloss/metal edging to enhance product refinement and grade.
4. key design details dismantling
1. Facade Operation Area Details
Screen and interaction: large-size embedded touch screen is adopted, and the layout is clear: the upper left corner is the power key (with breathing light effect), the left side is the brand logo "wedu micro degree", and the right side is the surgical handle interface (purple interface, which conforms to the color specification of medical equipment interface and is convenient for quick identification), the operation logic is intuitive, and the learning cost of medical staff is reduced.
Design of atmosphere lamp: a concave long strip atmosphere lamp is made at the bottom of the screen, which shows light blue breathing light effect after starting up, which not only improves the sense of science and technology and interaction of the product, but also can be used as a visual hint of the operating state of the equipment (such as different light effects of standby/work/failure), while weakening the heavy feeling of the body.
Chamfering process: precise soft chamfering is done at the joint between the screen panel and the fuselage, with natural transition and no abrupt feeling, taking into account both beauty and safety of holding/installation.
2. Fuselage Structure Details
Side modeling: the side adopts smooth curved surface transition, continues the front soft chamfering language, and makes concave modeling at the same time, which not only optimizes the visual level, but also provides invisible stress points for handling and improves practicability.
Bottom design: black non-slip foot pads are used to raise the body to ensure ventilation and heat dissipation at the bottom, while avoiding equipment sliding on the table and improving the stability of use; the shape of the foot pad is unified with the body style without destroying the overall beauty.
Back interface area: the back is integrated with heat dissipation grille, power supply interface, data interface, etc., with regular layout. The heat dissipation grille adopts dense mesh design, taking into account the heat dissipation efficiency and dustproof requirements. The interface identification is clear and conforms to the operation specifications of medical equipment.
3. Multi-Perspective Detail Verification
From the top view, side view, top view and other multiple perspectives, the product design language is highly unified:
Top flat black panel, simple atmosphere, no extra elements, highlighting the professional sense;
All corners are consistent with the soft chamfering, to achieve 360 degrees without dead angle of the aesthetic;
The location layout of the interface, buttons and other functional parts conforms to the operating habits of medical staff to avoid accidental touch.

1. Operate man-machine
Screen viewing angle: The screen adopts forward tilting design, which conforms to the line of sight angle of medical staff standing operation, and can clearly view the screen information without bending down, reducing neck fatigue during long-term operation.
Interface layout: the handle interface is arranged on the right side of the front, which is within reach during operation. The plug-in handle does not need to go around to the back of the equipment, thus improving the operation efficiency during operation. The interface adopts a dumb-proof design to avoid misinsertion.
Key design: Only the core power key is retained, and the rest of the functions are integrated into the touch screen, simplifying the operation interface and reducing the risk of misoperation during surgery.
2. Use scene man-machine
Compact adaptation: the host is small in size, can be flexibly placed in the operating room cart, operating table, does not occupy too much space, adapt to different operating room layout.
Cleaning and disinfection: the whole machine adopts the integrated, no dead angle design, the surface is smooth and easy to wipe, which meets the requirements of hospital sense prevention and control of medical equipment, and is convenient for daily disinfection and maintenance.
Handling and installation: lightweight design of invisible force structure, medical staff can easily handle equipment; The bottom foot pad and regular back interface simplify the installation and fixing process of the equipment.
