With the increase in the number of people traveling by air and the opening of the three-child policy, more and more passengers will take babies to travel by air. However, the current process of parents carrying babies on flights due to the lack of effective devices for placing babies, there are serious fatigue problems of parents, inability to eat, and lack of conditions to do things of interest to them, which leads to the poor flight experience of passengers carrying babies on flights. Therefore, this design is based on human engineering and user psychology, and the foldable baby seat is taken as the design object. Starting from the safety and functionality, a systematic study is carried out on the design of civil aviation baby seat. The specific work is as follows:
(1) Use a variety of analytical methods. Through content analysis, user interviews, user empathy maps, user journey maps and other methods, user research methods comprehensively analyze and study users and summarize their needs. The research results hope to provide ideas and references for related research;
(2) Completed the design of civil aviation foldable baby seat. Guided by user needs, functional innovation is carried out under the strong constraints of the civil aviation cabin, and the civil aviation baby seat is designed with reference to relevant aviation regulations and human-machine dimensions. Use three-dimensional software to complete the parts and structure diagrams of the two products, mainly including five-point safety belts, U-shaped pillows, etc. To provide practical experience and ideas for the design of aviation baby seats in China;
On the basis of the above, the functional design is applied to the design practice, combined with diary research and video research, to accurately locate the applicable population and its needs. The foldable structure, clamping structure and retractable seat belt design are proposed to solve the problem of parents placing babies in the civil aviation cabin. Combined with ergonomics and user psychology theory, the overall design of civil aviation foldable baby seat is completed, which provides practical reference for future research.
