Shenyang is China's most important heavy industry base dominated by equipment manufacturing. It is known as the "Ministry of Equipment of the Republic" and has the reputation of "the eldest son of the Republic" and "Oriental Ruhr. Heavy industry is undoubtedly the city card that the city is most proud.
The inspiration of this design comes from the industrial chimney. The cup body is connected with a grinder shaped like industrial equipment. The grinder can be disassembled. It is connected with the cup body through a "valve". After the "valve" is opened, the ground coffee beans slide into the bottom of the cup along the tube and then pour hot water for brewing.
The water vapor formed during the brewing process is like a chimney smoking, and the coffee stains on the edge of the cup are like mud attached to the chimney. The inspiration for packaging design comes from modern factory buildings. Although beautiful factory buildings can cover chimneys, they cannot cover pollution, implying that environmental protection requires real solutions to problems.
This design not only conveys the concept of environmental protection in a humorous way, but also reflects the characteristics of heavy industrial cities, with interest and experience.
