The design of the sophomore year was commissioned by the teacher to design the car sunshade, and then the final design structure was not ideal and ended hastily, but the various umbrella structures studied at that time were deeply imprinted in my mind. Later, anti-bone umbrellas became popular one after another in schools. I also wanted to buy one, but Taobao was selling for about 59 at that time. I was just a poor student. I was going to design one of my own, and then I started to study the structure of the anti-bone umbrella. After thoroughly studying the principle of anti-bone umbrella, I started my own design journey. During this period, I designed dozens of times and designed various forms, but I never met my requirements. Later, I was confused. After staring at the umbrella character for a long time, the inspiration came. Isn't the umbrella character the simplest umbrella structure? Later, I began to break down the umbrella structure into the form of fonts, which is convenient to spell and conceive. After the traditional straight handle umbrella is disassembled, it happens to be an umbrella structure, but because of symmetry, I have removed half of the side and only the representative core components are left. In this way, I designed the ordinary straight handle umbrella into an anti-bone umbrella. The processes used in it are actually the mainstream products on the market at present, and there is no innovative part. In order to save the process cost, it is also convenient for users to repair.

This is to add semi-automatic, adding a mainstream spring semi-automatic structure on the market. In fact, according to my minimalist thinking, I don't want to increase it, because it feels like it destroys the beauty of the umbrella character. However, fortunately, the overall design changes are relatively small, which is conducive to popularization. More importantly, the oil-paper umbrellas handed down from our ancestors can also be applied. This is also one of the reasons why I had to design with umbrella characters at that time.
