This product is the flagship design of a new PI image planned by a designer for the SmallRig brand. It solves many pain points of professional photographers in the shooting process and strengthens the identification and continuity of SmallRig products. The user needs and industry competition to do a full analysis, with the SmallRig to define a safe/fast/portable/modular product concept.
This product is the flagship design of the new PI image planned by EGO design for the SmallRig brand. It solves many pain points faced by professional photographers during the shooting process and also strengthens the recognition and sustainability of the SmallRig product. We have conducted a thorough analysis of user needs and industry competitors, and jointly defined the product concept of safety, speed, lightness, and modularity with SmallRig.

The whole kit is summarized into 3 sets of components: camera cage, shoulder rest and monitor. At the same time, the designer made a detailed observation and slice of the photographer's working habits, and the final design can switch between the three working forms of portable, lifting and shoulder carrying within 1 second, making the photographer's work faster and easier. The designer chose the sharp octagon as the family feature for the SmallRig, and carefully depicted every part in the product, showing a precise and professional industrial aesthetic feeling, which is different from many rough competitors in the market.
