Algae Dome is a pavilion that, through photosynthesis, produces microalgae- the potential food of the future. The microalgae absorbs CO2 from the air and then, inside the transparent tubing, it absorbs light and multiplies its mass. It grows very fast- even up to twice a day. It's dome shape creates space for social interaction, while playing an educational and informational role on the future of food and algae production process. It provides a unique architectural experience, while triggering the debate on the future's sustainability. When displayed in 2017 in Copenhagen, for three days, Algae Dome produced around 450 kgs of microalgae
