As designers, we take our meals seriously. Not only the pursuit of color and fragrance of the full, but also to do the move to exotic scenery, poetic dining. This is a private canteen belonging to the designer, called CHENG-8. CHENG is the highest level of "support" and eating. When I was a child, I met delicious food. This is generally the case. The number 8, which borrows the name of its own design company-8C design, is regarded as "∞" infinity, and everything is possible. Every time after drinking and eating, I always sigh that being a human being can't hide from the curl of smoke and smoke, joys and sorrows, and indulge in every inch. The CHENG-8 is located in Hexi of Changsha City, looking at the Yanghu Wetland Park, close to the Yahe River, with a pleasant natural environment. The first visit in 2018 conceived the prototype of the CHENG-8. After a year, the winding path leads to a secluded area, which can be found and integrated with the surrounding lush green vegetation. The pure white exterior wall and two bright and swaying floor-to-ceiling glass vaguely reveal the indoor furnishings and the lush outdoor greenery. Coupled with the cooperation of light and shadow, it is even more difficult to distinguish the actual from the actual.

Inside the house is a magical and obscure painting, called "the star is actually a cosmic dust", like a silent guide, to the left is the reception room, to the right is the designer's midnight canteen. The lowest point of the indoor floor height is only 2.6 meters, and the 4-meter-wide floor-to-ceiling glass windows on both sides not only blur the feeling of low space, but also solve the problem of lighting, allowing bright sunshine to pour in. The black and gray of the space, but also in the vitality of the meaning to find a quiet self-sustaining. This makes the art and decoration interspersed in the space more dreamy and childlike. This static and dynamic balance, just right. Because it is their own private space, the designer is more arbitrary, and a large number of two elements, wood and stone, which belong to nature and have been obtained only after several years, are selected. It is not only a description of a space about eating, but also a presentation of the designer's own world.
