This is a live camera that I designed two years ago. At that time, our goal was brutal: to make an extremely low-cost, but high-grade product.
Today, I will operate on it and give you a steak. As an industrial designer, how did I make a stunning high-level feeling with the most economical "coquettish operation" in the extreme crack of "budget stuck to death!
✨SAO operation one: visual deception! Only 1% of the paint budget is only for the "first sight"
The human eye is very "snobbish. When you look at the camera, 90% of the visual focus will always be locked in front of the lens.
My design scheme: since the budget is stuck in my neck, I directly resisted the pressure and left the only spraying budget of the whole body to the gray decorative ring in front of the lens, with a layer of matte metallic paint with excellent texture. As for the rest of the large white fuselage? Sorry, not a drop of paint! Cut off all the spray paint and directly use the mold to print and inject the material.
The final visual effect: a dozen lights in the studio, the metal ash in the front face will reflect extremely delicate light and shadow. As long as this 1% of the local precision is on top, people's psychological expectations will be anchored instantly. You don't even think it's plastic.
