A desktop microphone product designed two years ago! Of course, it has also been shipped in large quantities in the North American market.
Minimalist form, restrained aesthetic At the beginning of the design, I hoped it would abandon the complicated mechanical sense of traditional microphones. The main body adopts a classic "capsule" shape, with a customized U-shaped cantilever metal bracket, which not only adjusts the pitch angle smoothly, but also visually makes it more suspended and light. On any style of desktop, is a minimalist desktop aesthetic single product.
✨CMF Collision: Half Warm and Half Hard Core In order to improve the overall texture, I made a bold material splice in the middle of the fuselage:
Upper part (black): The skin-friendly paint is applied. Considering that users will often touch this area when adjusting the microphone, skin-friendly materials can bring a warm and delicate touch and eliminate the cold sense of electronic products. With the minimalist bar LED indicator, the status is clear at a glance.
The lower part (ash): the aluminum alloy material surface sandblasting oxidation process. This part needs to reflect the "hard core" of professional audio equipment and calm, delicate metal sandblasting brings excellent light and shadow diffuse reflection effect.
✨The obsession of detail control
Metal CD pattern knob: the damping knob on the side and the adjustment knob on the front are both made of metal and supplemented by precise CD texture. In particular, the knob of the low-saturation Tuhaojin on the front is the visual focus of the entire dark-tone body, and each rotation has a sense of confirmation of a precision instrument.
Ultra-stable base: The bottom is equipped with a weighted all-metal base to ensure that the microphone is still stable during intense live broadcasts or games.
Grand Slam Interface: Type-C mm, 3.5mm monitoring interface and professional XLR Canon interface are cleverly hidden at the bottom, taking into account the desktop minimalist routing and the expansion needs of professional audio creators.
As a designer who has been deeply involved in the 3C field for many years, I always believe that good design should not just be eye-catching, but to present functions to users in the most elegant and comfortable way.
