Introduction: Xinjiang has a long history, and the east and west cultures are eclectic. It is an important part of Chinese civilization. With the implementation of the strategic concept of Belt and Road Initiative, Xinjiang, as the forefront of China's opening to the west, has ushered in new historical development opportunities for the cultural and tourism industry. The ancient Kingdom of Qiuci is located in Kuqa, Baicheng and Xinhe County, Xinjiang. It is an important town on the North Road of the Silk Road.
The construction of the Qiuci Grottoes predates the Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes for more than a hundred years. Its artistic style is based on local culture and integrates the cultures of India, Persia, Central Plains and other places, and has a profound impact on Chinese Buddhist grotto art. However, the Qiuci Grottoes, a cultural and tourism resource with distinctive regional characteristics, has not been rationally developed and utilized, and has not yet formed a certain scale of cultural and creative industry. Through literature research and other methods, the artistic features of Qiuci Grottoes are combed, the representative elements of Qiuci mural are analyzed and extracted, and the transformation design is carried out. Subsequently, through questionnaire research methods to explore the consumer demand of cultural and creative products, learn from the product cases of "Nian Dunhuang Hand-made Experience Workshop" and "Dunhuang Poetry Towel", and carry out design practice under the guidance of development strategies. Finally, the cultural elements of Qiuci murals were combined with the experience of poking and embroidering hands, and the hand-made material package and WeChat applet were designed. Users use small programs to collage and combine Qiuci cultural elements to create personalized Qiuci cultural symbols, and can place an order to purchase customized material bags for hand-made experience to make carpets, tapestries and other Xinjiang characteristic products. Through the analysis of the experience process of poking and embroidery, the material package is divided into low, medium and three kinds of difficulty to meet different user needs and let users have a better cultural experience. In addition to basic materials and tools, the material package also includes auxiliary tools such as tracing cards, paper instructions, video tutorials, etc. to reduce the difficulty of experience and help users quickly understand the operation process. The design of WeChat applet includes customization, display and purchase of three modules to meet the promotion and brand consumption of Qiuci culture.
