Rollover is a hot dog brand with a history of more than 20 years. The enterprise contacted IDC product design team in the UK and invited us to solve the reliability problem of its existing heated food vending machine for the enterprise with professional product design and development ability and experience, especially to improve the regular operation time of the equipment and expand the food capacity.

Product design and value include the following:

1) Patented box storage design for enterprises
The project began with a full range of innovative ideas and design iterations, and culminated in an internally stackable box design designed to reduce the interaction time required to refill the food box and maximize the equipment's ability to store and sell breakfast muffins, burgers and hot dogs. The box design has been patented for the company.

2) Build visual highlights
In addition, the product design and engineering team studies and identifies the interaction behavior of all users at the product touch point, including suppliers, service teams and consumers, before solving specific mechanical and technical problems.
Subsequently, the key requirements were captured, and the usability and appearance were improved by integrating an LCD screen on the equipment. This visual sales and POS customization are particularly attractive to consumers and become a bright spot in the overall appearance of the product.

3) Thermal Management and Hygiene
Another key to the technical delivery and design improvement of the equipment is that the core temperature of the food insulation will not cause the system to overheat and shorten the life of the entire equipment.
The product engineering team balances different variables, conceives solutions, and tests them. Through the evolution of each design stage, the correct method of temperature control is gradually determined.

4) Commissioning design
The final design is a sheet metal structure, suitable for mass production and assembly, and brings a modern texture and visual presentation to the product.
