Compared with ordinary product design, drug delivery equipment poses higher challenges to product design in terms of precision control, user operation, drug delivery efficiency, cost control, and compliance requirements.
IDC UK has many years of experience in the design and development of drug delivery devices.
Through full research on the standardized drug delivery structure, the team was able to quickly advance the design and development process of the complex drug delivery device, and finally completed all the design and development work before production within 9 months.
While ensuring efficient development, identifying product optimization opportunities and implementing relevant features through design development is another challenge for the project. These include the overall enhancement of the product's ergonomics and user experience, ergonomic design through engineering refinement and pre-production of samples that were tested and reviewed.
The definition of the visual image of the product should not only be familiar to consumers, but also be different from other products on the market.
Through the modification of the three elements of color, texture and shape, the design team has given the product a unique personality. At the same time, considering the user's usage habits, the traditional gestures of the product have been continued to maintain the intuitive use of the product.

The team defined tolerances suitable for mass production through 2D CAD drawings and performed stack analysis. The material grade of individual parts is determined according to their respective manufacturing processes and mechanical interactions.
