As the only nation in the world that likes to drink cooked water, whether it is from the records of the Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic to the Compendium of Materia Medica, or to drinking more hot water as mothers often say today, this unique Chinese custom and culture has long been deeply rooted in the memory of every citizen and has become a drinking habit.
The creative inspiration comes from Zhang Zeduan's "Shanghe on Qingming Festival" in the Northern Song Dynasty, which focuses on the life style of the people in Bianjing during the heyday of the Northern Song Dynasty in the 12th century. Compared with other classic paintings, it depicts the themes of gods and nobles; "Shanghe on Qingming Festival" As a representative of genre painting, it depicts the real life of the people at that time, full of fireworks in the world.
We serialized the picture scroll of "Shangtuqiao on the Qingming Festival" with twelve pictures to present twelve different times respectively. With the "Shangtuqiao" in the picture scroll as the center, it diverges to both sides and combines twelve hours. Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu, Hai; each bottle corresponds to an hour, with a unique mission, every picture has you, me and life.
